Don is an accomplished operator and investor with over 23 years of experience spanning startups, growth, and pre-IPO/public companies. He has held executive roles at companies like Revolut and Uber and made significant contributions to venture capital and private equity. As a member of the Investment Committee at Atomico, one of Europe’s leading venture funds, he worked on its $1.24bn fund focused on Venture and Growth stage investments.

At Revolut, Don served as VP of Global Business, where he led initiatives in strategic growth, profitability, product development, sales, partnerships, and capital markets. He built and scaled global operations that drove the company’s expansion into new markets, playing a key role in its emergence as one of the world’s largest fintech companies and Europe’s most valuable privately held startup, with a valuation of $45bn.

At Uber, Don was instrumental in the company’s international expansion across 45 countries. He was responsible for raising over $3.5bn in growth capital, shaping $4bn in M&A transactions, and managing a P&L generating over $100m in annual revenue. His work included building scalable teams, forging partnerships, and driving strategic initiatives that enabled Uber’s rapid global growth.

In addition to his operator roles, Don is an active angel investor and advisor, with over 40 investments in early-stage companies, ranking him in the top 5% of angel investors based on performance data from Cambridge Associates. He is also a scout for Sequoia Capital, using his expertise to identify and support high-potential startups across sectors.

Don holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA from UCLA. He also supports future leaders as a member of the Advisory Board at Imperial College Business School.
